A national-level seminar on “Electrochemical Sensors” was recently hosted by the Department of Chemistry at the Government Arts College in Salem. The event featured Dr. Mani Govindasamy, a renowned scientist and professor from National Taipei University, Taiwan, as the guest of honor. The seminar was presided over by the college Principal (i/c), Premalatha, with Department Head Basha in attendance. During his keynote address, Dr. Govindasamy emphasized the importance of adapting to a rapidly evolving world through innovative technological processes. He encouraged students to focus on developing new chemicals at a lower cost to advance global research efforts.

MCUT Strengthens Academic Ties with Top Indian Universities
Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT) recently led a delegation of university administrators and faculty members on a strategic visit to seven prestigious universities across Mumbai, Chennai, and Bengaluru. The visit aimed to deepen international collaborations through joint academic programs, student and faculty exchange, and research partnerships.
Focus areas of collaboration included:
Cross-border academic program agreements (3+2 for Master’s, 1+3 for PhD) Student exchange & short-term research internships Joint faculty supervision and research collaboration Talent cultivation & academic exchange on a global scale
